Guess the price of the whole item
Start on the daily price guessing game and look at the product name, brand, and listed pack size. Enter your guess in US dollars, such as $12.99. Guess the full item or multipack shown in the description, rather than the price per ounce, serving, or individual unit.
The listed size matters even if a product photo shows different packaging. A familiar product in a larger bottle or a bundle can have a very different reference price.
Follow the higher and lower hints
- Make a first guess. You have up to six attempts for the day.
- Read the direction. “Go higher” means the reference price is above your guess. “Go lower” means it is below your guess.
- Check how close you are. “Getting close” means the difference is within 25% of the reference price. “Far off” means it is more than 25% away.
- Land within 5% to win. Exactly 5% above or below the reference also counts. A winning guess ends the round.
One new puzzle every day
Everyone sees the same daily item. A fresh puzzle arrives at 00:00 UTC; the countdown on the game page shows the time remaining. There is no endless mode or replay of earlier puzzles. After a win or six unsuccessful guesses, the game reveals the reference price and its source.
